What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain robust internal and external APIs, ensuring they meet reliability and scalability requirements
- Own the backend platform end to end, optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align backend architecture with product and research needs
- Deploy and operate highly available services in containerized, cloud environments
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience building distributed systems or infrastructure platforms
- Direct experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments
- Comfort prioritizing and shipping in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
